Story: Jesse and his family started raising lambs with the goal of regenerating their soil. Since lamb manure is one of the most nitrogen rich manures, and the animals eat broad leaves (weeds) and grass they're a great help for the soil.
Their herd is just north of Heart Mountain and irrigated in the summer months to keep the grass green and fresh for their lambs and ewes.
The Fowler family also raises chickens for eggs on the side and toying with the idea of growing some produce on their ground.
