Story

Born and raised in Powell, WY with a long family history tied with agriculture; Rod has seen the change from "old-fashioned" agriculture to the conventional style that is now prevalent throughout the country. That change has motivated him to grow food that is only certified Organic and without herbicides, pesticides or petroleum fertilizers in an effort to preserve our soil, natural resources and save our future.

That motivation has resulted in Rocky Mountain Organic Meats becoming one of the pioneers in the American Organic beef market, and growing food organically.  

"Our livestock is raised the old-fashioned way; no steroids or growth hormones, no antibiotics and no grain. Our only additives are clean water, lush grasses and fresh air resulting in lean and delicious organic grass-fed beef.

Our Organic Beans are grown on our Common Ground Farms property in Powell, Wyoming. We grow and market high quality dried Certified Organic Beans and Grains that meet or exceed USDA Organic Standards. Although the most modern equipment is utilized in the cleaning of these products, some non-edible matter may be present. Customers need to thoroughly inspect and wash beans prior to cooking.

Beans and grains should be stored in a cool dry area and stock should be rotated according to age to help freshness and taste."
